DENVER – The 12th Denver Fly Fishing Show will be a chance for anglers to check out the new rods, reels, tying materials and learn about public lands and other issues important to sportsmen and women.
The show runs Friday through Sunday at the Denver Merchandise Mart, 451 East 58th Ave., just east of Interstate 25.
``This is Colorado’s premier fly fishing show. It’s a great opportunity to hook up with fellow anglers, vendors and outfitters,’’ said Bill Dvorak of the National Wildlife Federation and a rafting and fishing guide. ``The Colorado Trout Unlimited chapters in the metro area will have booths there.’’
A number of conservation groups will be on hand to share information and discuss the importance of maintaining access to public lands and promoting responsible energy development that safeguards fish, wildlife, clean air and water.
